The site is about documenting the project and getting players who may be interested in following its development for when I launch in 18-24 months, which will happen (this isn't my first rodeo in large, complex applications). Sorry if it was unclear - no, there's nothing there yet in terms of gameplay, but I have written about what you can expect.

At least other indie MMO's have something to show. I do have quite a bit of info on this, and am writing a lot about the game and it's development over at - so why not hop over, subscribe, and stay up to date with what I'm doing * Addressing the various game design concerns of the existing encumbent titles (such as joining galaxies late, poor player protection mechanisms.etc.) * Not pay to win (subscriptions only), but subscribers unlock "quality of life" features, such as notifications. It is an Action, Massively Multiplayer Online, City Building, Military, and Browser. Sorry for digging up an old thread - but I'm working on a game that is heavily inspired by games of the early 00s, before OGame came around (though very similar in nature). Add a Battle object representing a battle (things like round number and result) and a Hero object representing. Travian is an awesome video game for those who love playing MMORTS games. Though joining an alliance usually helps (not always).or getting lucky in a starting location or choosing a lesser populated server or both. If you like real time strategy, you’ve probably played a good am. Actually, a bigger problem than just pay to win.or at least just of a big of a one. Don you tallest thinking cap, as this video is all about the best games like Age of Empires. Maybe its just a problem with the type of genre they are.I did try Astro.and while it was pretty nice for not being pay to win.it was play to be pwned :P I even joined an alliance and still get pwned lol.Ī lot of browser strategy games seem to have that problem. That was the other problem I had with Ogame. Though I started on a server that isn't very populated or active.so I don't get pwned right off the bat. Starting so much as 1 day late will make you target practice for others.

Sadly the game is crap unless you get in on a new server on day 1.

Though you eventually have to pay a monthly fee to keep competitive. It's very much the same idea, but with no pay2win. There are, I used to play a game called Astro Empires some time ago.
